Day 01: Arrive Denpasar/Ubud (Drive)

Upon arrival in Denpasar, Bali we are warmly and traditionally welcomed and transferred to our hotel in Ubud - Bali's artistic heart and you are free to enjoy the many crafts centers in town.
Overnight: Agung Raka Resort, Ubud (4 nights)

Day 02: Kintamani Tour

We start the tour by seeing a Barong Dance at Batu Bulan, then to Bedulu with its rock carving at Elephant Cave. Proceed to Tirta Empul holy spring temple at Tampak Siring. You will have a Purification ceremony in this temple. The highlight of the tour where you will view a great volcanic Mount Batur with its magnificent Lake Batur right beside it. Lunch at a local restaurant. The last stop will be at Tegalalang rice terrace. In this place, you will see the Balinese farmer does their rice-field in the oblique area complete with its system irrigation.  Balinese irrigation system is called Subak, a kind of local cooperative system. You will enjoy the beautiful panorama of the valley with its rice terraces and coconut trees ornament it. In the afternoon, we return to hotel. (B, L)

Day 03: Besakih Tour

Besakih is located at the foot of Mount Agung. First stop will be made at Klungkung to visit Kerta Gosa, the hall of justice, which dates from the 18th century. Classical paintings can be viewed on the ceiling, portraying visions of heaven and hell. Continue up into the mountains for Besakih temple, almost 1000 m above seas level. Besakih is the “Mother Temple” of Bali, and the complex houses 30 temples, made up of 7 levels of terraces on the mountainside. Lunch at a local restaurant. Visit Tenganan, an isolated native Balinese village where people have lived undisturbed by outside influence for centuries. Our last stop will be at Goa Lawah before returning back to the hotel. Day 04: Bedugul and Tanah Lot

A sightseeing tour to visit a beautiful Taman Ayun Temple, which is dated back from the Royal Mengwi Dynasty. Continue to Bedugul that located on the shore of Lake Beratan, you can enjoy the cool mountain breeze and view Ulun Danu Temple. Then visit to the magnificent Eka Karya Botanic Garden that features 2,000 species of plants and 20,000 plant specimens ranging including orchids, roses, palms, ferns, bamboos and medicinal plants. We also will visit Alas Kedaton (monkey forest) where you will be welcomed by tame and friendly monkeys and continue to Tanah Lot temple placed on a huge rock surrounded by the sea and ideal beach to relax and perfect place to see sunset (if weather is permitted). Day 05: Ubud/Sanur (Drive)

Before breakfast, you may want to visit the local traditional market of Ubud, just across Ubud Palace. It is a nice place to enjoy authentic Balinese experiences. The traditional market opens before the dawn and up to 0830 hrs daily. This morning tour starts with a visit to Ubud Palace (locally known as Puri Saren Ubud). The Palace has a shape of Balinese Traditional house, which was the resident of Ubud King. From Puri Saren, we proceed to Bedulu Archaeology Museum, which is approximiately 45 minutes drive from Ubud. Among the museum collection are the stone axes, stone arrow heads, stone inscriptions, earthen wares, sarcophagus & etc.  All of which are dating back to prehistoric age of Bali.  After the visit at this museum, we drive to hotel in Sanur.

Day 06: Sanur

We keep one day free for us to enjoy not only the beach but also join the many activities that the resort offers. (B)

Day 07: Sanur

Day free at leisure until at around 1400 hrs we will be driven to Uluwatu Temple, which is situated about 70m on the cliff overlooking the bay. From there watch the rough seas of the Indian-ocean rushes forward, hitting the rocks beneath the cliff. We will then proceed to enjoy the Traditional Kecak Dance, a dramatic performance lasting about 45 minutes, where 25-50 dancers chant “cak” and throw up their arms, depicting a battle from the Ramayana where monkeys help Prince Rama fight the evil King Ravana.  The dance will be performed on an open stage on a cliff at the Uluwatu Temple complex, against a spectacular background of the sunset. A farewell dinner will be enjoyed at a local restaurant before returning back to the hotel. (B, D)

Day 08: Depart Sanur/Denpasar (Drive)

Our tour comes to an end with transfer to Denpasar Airport for your flight out. (B)

Notes

March 22, 2023 | March 11, 2024 | March 29, 2025 is Nyepi Day (Bali’s Day of Silence).
  • The silence begins at sunrise around 6:00am on Nyeli Day and lasts for the next 24 hours.
  • All shops are closed.
  • Guests are recommended to stay inside the hotels/resorts area.
  • When listening to music or watching TV in your hotel rooms, kindly keep the sound at minimum level.
  • There will be no traffic in the whole of Bali island.
  • Ngurah Rai airport (DPS) will be closed on Nyeli and no flights will be operating.
  • Emergency medical and police services remain functional.
