Day 01: Arrive Dubai

Ahlan wa Sahlan (Welcome in Arabic). Upon arrival at Dubai Airport we are met and transferred to our hotel As we are driven we will be amazed at the intriguing architecture around us and a lot more still under construction. Balance of the day is free.

Overnight: Novotel Hotel, Dubai World Trade Centre 4*/Crowne Plaza, Jumeira 5* (4 nights)

Day 02: Dubai city and Desert Safari

Our exploration of Dubai starts at the Jumeirah Mosque, Dubai’s most popular mosque. After visiting this beautiful mosque we continue and have  photo stops at Burj Al Arab, one of the world’s most luxurious hotels followed by the magnificent Burj Khalifa, which at 828m, is the world’s tallest free-standing structure.

At The Palm, Dubai’s artificial island shaped as a palm tree, we discover the lost city of Atlantis and visit one of the world’s largest aquariums. Next drive past the palaces of the ruling family of Dubai before visiting Al Fahdi Fort, dating from 1787 and the current location of the Dubai Museum. We end our morning exploration visiting the traditional Spice and Gold souqs.

After rest time at our hotel we are treated to one of the most fun loving activity. We will experience the soulful beauty and serenity of the Arabian Desert on a guided desert safari! Our first stop is at the entry where we deflate the tires to give our 4x4’s a firm grip and then we weave our way through the ups and downs of the unparalleled sandy trails in the comfort of a modern and well-maintained 4X4 vehicle, thus enjoying the ultimate delight of dune bash.  The safari culminates at the campsite where we’ll be welcomed with traditional Arabian coffee and dates. After a complimentary camel ride, we are  treated to a delicious BBQ dinner before heading back to our hotel. (B, D)

Day 03: Excursion to Abu Dhabi (Drive)

A 2-hour drive and we are in Abu Dhabi, capital of the UAE. We start off with the most talked off Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque which houses some 41,000 worshippers praying. Explore the white marble arcades and courtyards and as we visit the prayer room we get to know about the mosque’s design and significance. The size of the complex exceeds four football fields! Continue to Yas Island for photo-ops outside Yas Marina Circuit and the Ferrari World, followed by the surreal-looking cultural buildings sprouting up on Saadiyat Island. We pass Qasr Al Hosn, former home of the royals of Abu Dhabi’s royals and then have some free time at the Abu Dhabi Mall before seeing the beautiful Corniche and the majestic Emirates Palaces Hotel located on a private pristine beach considered as the epitome of luxury showcasing Arabian hospitality at its best. Time permitting, we visit the Louvre Museum (entrance fees extra) which represents the dynamic nature of the contemporary Arab world while celebrating the region’s vibrant multicultural heritage. Agence France-Muséums – 17 of France’s most renowned cultural institutions – coordinates the loan of artworks to this UAE museum and provides management expertise. After this incredible day, we drive back to our hotel in Dubai. (B)

Day 04: Dubai

Today’s is free at leisure for you to explore on your own.  For an optional tour to see the inside of the BurjKhalifa Observation Gallery at the 124th floor please contact Bestway Tours & Safaris. In the evening, we will join a Dhow Cruise cruising down the tranquil Dubai Creek while we are being entertained with live music performances and a lavish buffet dinner spread on board.  A dinner cruise is the most perfect way to enjoy the exquisite vistas of Deira and Bur Dubai in a cosy ambience. The two-hour Dubai Dhow cruise that usually begins after sunset covers almost the entire of Dubai Creek.  You are then dropped to your hotel at about 1030 PM. (B, D)

Day 05: Depart Dubai

After our enlightening journey through millenary history, we are transferred to the airport for our departure flight. Dubai has been a more popular extension destination for tourists to include this at the end of their tour. (B)
